Another MTV reality television star has been arrested. According to a Feb. 11 Yahoo! OMG! report, Salwa Amin, 24, of “Buckwild”was arrested on Feb. 10 on drug charges.
Amin was arrested at a home in West Virginia and is being held on at least one felony charge of possession with intent to deliver. TMZ reports Salwa was found with both heroin and oxycodone. Amin’s bail is set at $200,000 according to the police database.
Salwa was arrested along with two other people, Jason D. Jones, 31, and Shawn L. Booker, 43. Neither men are associated with the show. The arrests were made after police received a tip that a drug deal was occurring. Amin and the other suspects were found hiding in the home’s shed.
“Buckwild” has quickly become a very popular show for MTV and was just renewed for a second season last week. It isn’t the first show on the network to be plagued with criminal behavior. The cast members of “Jersey Shore” are frequently in trouble with the law.
Then, of course, there’s Jenelle Evans from “Teen Mom 2.” Evans has been arrested so many times sources say MTV might cancel the show just to break ties with her.
