A clipper type system will move north of the region today bringing a cold front through later this afternoon. Low pressure will then develop off the mid-Atlantic coast on Saturday and move northeast, brushing eastern areas with some light snow or snow showers. Colder and blustery weather will then funnel into the region behind the storm on Sunday as it strengthens rapidly offshore.
