Another major vulnerability exposed in Minnesota's election system

The vast majority of Minnesotans support Photo ID. This video, published by James O'Keefe and Project Veritas, exposes another gaping hole in Minnesota's election system. While Photo ID won't prevent voter registration fraud, it will prevent people who've filled out those fraudulent registrations from voting.

The cavalier attitude of the government employees is disturbing. Saying that a person can register to vote without proving that they are who they claim to be is a recipe for disaster. These employees don't seem to care about that.

Saying that they investigate after the fact doesn't guarantee election integrity. In fact, it guarantees that the system is compromised and without safeguards.

Worker: "My election judges have a hard time with that. It's like 'Change the law. Change the law.'"

Not only should the law change but enforcement budgets beefed up. Not only that but safeguards should be put in place that make it a crime for these government employees to accept registrations without verifying the person's identity and address.

This video kills the DFL's argument against the need for Photo ID. There's substantial proof that the current system isn't fine. There's substantial proof that it's easy to game the system. It's time that those holes get plugged.

Having someone vote who isn't eligible to vote disenfranchises voters just like preventing voters who are eligible to vote disenfranchises voters.

DFL politicians have proved that they're opposed to improving election integrity. That's why DFL legislators voted against Photo ID. That's why Gov. Dayton vetoed the bill even though the vast majority of registered Democrats approve of Photo ID.
