SF IndieFest launches its Another Hole In The Head Film Festival today in San Francisco.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the festival offers three weeks of Independent Horror, Sci-Fi and Fantasy films including 54 feature films, 27 short films, new venues, extended dates, and a theatrical play to fill all genre film needs.

The festival officially kicks off November 29 at the Balboa Theater and will continue at the Balboa until December 5, then move to the New People Cinema until December 19.

This year the festival will launch on “Black Friday”, November 29 at the Balboa Theater in San Francisco with the 80’s style slasher film "All Cheerleaders Die" about a rebellious girl who signs up a group of cheerleaders to help her take down the captain of the high school football team but a supernatural turn of events thrust the girls into a new battle.

This year, Another Hole in the Head will also present horror classics to be shown in glorious 35mm at the Balboa Theater. Steven Speilberg’s classic "Jaws" will be shown along with Stanley Kubrick’s "The Shining."

Closing Night this year will be on Thursday, December 19, with "Senn" a science-fiction film about alien intelligence in the corporate-owned future, which was locally produced in San Francisco. "Senn" will make its World Premiere at the New People Cinema in San Francisco.

The film will be followed by a Closing Night Party taking place at the Penthouse Club from 8PM until 2AM where local ghetto booty breaks Dj crew BRASS TAX will provide the entertainment.
