Another Great Combination of Tea in Chocolate

A few months ago I wrote an article about a local chocolate maker that includes tea as an ingedient in his fine collection. I have found an additional chocolate maker that creates another great combination of tea in chocolate. The luxurious chocolates are handmade at Gail Ambrosius Chocolatier in Madison, WI.

There are many types of tea and four are highlighted in the truffle assortment. To begin with is Blueberry. Morsels of dried Michigan blueberries are used with a sweet cream and combined with Rishi's Blueberry Rooibos tea, along with 65% Peruvian chocolate. It's a flavorful combination of refreshing berry and velvety dark chocolate.

Next is Jasmine. Rishi's Jasmine Tea is combined with 61% Carenero Superior chocolate. The flowery flavor of the jasmine green tea, along with fresh cream, is balanced by the distinguished chocolate. The combination provides a delicate taste.

Then, there is Rose, which includes Rishi's delicate Wild Rose Tea, sweet cream and silky Venezuela's Carenero Superior chocolate. The taste is subtle yet tantalizing with a similarity to the fresh aroma of roses.

Lastly, is Earl Grey, which is a combination of orange blossom, bergamot, lavender and black tea blended with 70% dark chocolate. There is a unique flavor in the beginning, but ending with a soft lavender taste.

Gail Ambrosius - Chocolatier Madison is located at 2086 Atwood Avenue in Madison, WI. The store is open Monday - Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and is closed on Sunday.
