You probably already know that the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival debuts on March 6, but there's another opening at the park this week. Just two days later, on March 8, the "Re-Discovering America:Family Treasures from the Kinsey Collection" exhibit opens to the public in the American Adventure pavilion.
The Kinsey Collection brings an important piece of history to Walt Disney World, as you can see in the video toward the end of this article. It showcases the many contributions that African-Americans have made to their country over the years.
The collection at Epcot includes more than 40 artifacts, documents, and pieces of artwork, covering a span of four centuries. They come from among the many treasures collected by philanthropists Bernard and Shirley Kinsey.
Once it opens, you can see the Kinsey Collection throughout the day whenever you visit Epcot. Make some time in your schedule to see a piece of authentic history. The exhibit is family friendly, with special Disney touches that bring it to life for adults and kids alike.
