On Wed. Feb. 13, 2013 fans of the "Die Hard" movie franchise are in for quite a treat. Starting at eleven in the morning and ends roughly before midnight, the price for the marathon is $25.00 but includes all four previous installments of the franchise and concludes with a showing of "A Good Day to Die Hard" before it hits theaters on Valentine's Day.
However, one should know this cannot be viewed at the typical theater I would suggest, Carmike 14 in Hiram, GA. In fact, the closest location to deliver the all day "Die Hard" marathon to Austell is at Carmike 15 in Columbus, GA. Needless to say this is quite the drive, considering without traffic that it takes an hour and forty-seven minutes, but something tells me this will be worth it for all of the 'Die Hard' fans out there.
Keep in mind though, the run time for the event is 642 minutes. So remember to be prepared for lots of bathroom breaks and refills of coke and popcorn.
My suggestion is to purchase Carmike's popcorn bucket. While this might seem a little pricey at first, one must remember that for the duration of the year when using the popcorn bucket the refills are only $3.50. Considering the prices at the concession stand this is a remarkable deal to consider, especially during such an event.

If you can't make the drive out to Columbus though and are still interested in a "Die Hard" marathon, another option is to rent the aforementioned predecessors, make sure to check out the titles through Videodrome, Netflix, or movie channels based upon your cable or satellite provider.
