This t-shirt design is about to get some "Twilight" all up in it. Aww, yeah!
A series like "Twilight", where the drama is so unbearably thick you could stand a spoon in it, virtually begs to be parodied: self-serious things often get such treatment. This week, we've seen roughly 18 bajillion "Twilight" parodies, but we've vowed only to run the funniest here at the Comedy Examiner's Office. And, whatta ya know, we've got ourselves a new one. Check it out below, my gentle Examiner readers...
You'll need to be familiar with the "3 Wolf Moon" shirt meme to get the full effect in the following video-- which comes to us from our friends over at College Humor-- and if you're not, here's a brief overview: there's this shirt, it's really white-trashy, and people make fun of it a lot. Now the shirt is mashing up with "Twilight". Got it? Good, check this out:
We're hoping that made sense to you. If it didn't, check out this other "Twilight" parody from a week or so ago from the people over at "Saturday Night Live". We know what you're thinking: "But, wait a minute, SNL isn't funny!" And, usually, you'd be right. But in this case, their "Twilight" parody is definitely worth checking out. As such, click the damn embedded link, my precious snowflakes. It's worth a gander.
If you've already read that article, check out some of these other recent masterpieces from the Comedy Examiner's Office:
"Gag reel from JJ Abrams' "Star Trek" is almost as entertaining as the movie! (with hilarious video)"-- in which we look at the latest gag reel that's actually worth watching, from this summer's awesome "Star Trek" reboot.
"Rob Schneider, questionable 'star' of "Deuce Bigalow", throws a temper-tantrum (with video)"-- in which we check out footage of the former SNL star making an ass of himself. It's worth a click, check it out!
"Arrested Development star Will Arnett to guest-star on "Parks and Recreation" soon!"-- in which we learn when Gob is going to make himself appear on NBC's "Parks and Recreation". Read all about it here!
"So, how did "Curb Your Enthusiasm" handle that whole "Kramer Thing"? (with video)"-- in which we check out some footage of this week's "Curb", which dealt with Michael Richards' penchant for the "N-word".
