In Orlando music news this week it was revealed by the members of Judy Tribune that they are on an indefinite hiatus. This was the message they posted on Facebook:

“It has been four years since the three of us got together to write and perform music. Due to life and conflicts beyond our control, we have decided to officially go on an indefinite hiatus. We have had a hell of ride and shared the stage with some of the finest musicians that have graced this great planet. Thanks to everyone for all of the amazing support and love throughout the years. We don’t believe in saying goodbye, so let’s settle for ‘see you later.’ Hugs and kisses, Rick, Kyle, and Kris (the fellas of Judy Tribune)”

On Friday there is a special show at Will’s Pub celebrating the 30th anniversary of Prince’s “Purple Rain.” The album will be performed in its entirety by an all-star lineup of Orlando musicians including Eugene Snowden (The Legendary JC's), Gerald Perez (Maximino, Thee Wilt Chamberlain), Bethany Avello (The Moon is a Disco Ball), Jasper Bleu (Alias Punch), Dan Drennon (Alias Punch), Adam Ibrahim (Sterling Schroeder and the Chosen Ones, Me Chinese) and Matt Kamm (Me Chinese, Telethon).
