Another 14er death on Crestone Needle (Photos)

According to the Wet Mountain Tribune, a climber's body was found near Broken Hand Pass, just below Crestone Needle today. The deceased climber, Keith Dean Rose, 50, of Arvada, CO, was climbing alone. His identity is confirmed by the 14ers.com Facebook group page by a family friend.

A family friend stated that Mr. Rose was attempting to climb all of the 14ers this summer to celebrate his 50th birthday.
