Anointed Pen Writers Seminar to be held on March 27

Author Venus Mason Theus

Do you have a book inside of you? Do you have journals full of stories and poems? Would you publish a book if you knew how? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the 2nd Annual Anointed Pen Seminar for Christian Writers might be for you.

Detroit author Venus Mason Theus will host E3 Publications' 2nd annual seminar for Christian Writers on Saturday, March 27. The seminar consists of six writer's workshops facilitated by accomplished Christian literary professionals.

Also included is Authorcize, a fitness workout for writers and "desk jockies" conducted by Certified Fitness Instructor Diarra Garfield. Another major highlight will be the Hour of Power luncheon co-facilitated by PR Coach and Social Media Expert Pam Perry and Marketing and Promo Expert Jillian Blackwell.

“My vision is that more entertaining and edifying books will emerge. But I recognize that the only way for that to happen is to cultivate a community of Christian writers. I strongly believe that there are latent Christian writers who have a desire and a platform, but simply don't know how or where to get started,” says event founder Venus Mason Theus. “Sponsoring the Anointed Pen Seminar for Christian Writers is my way of paying it forward, and an investment into my dream of positively impacting our society one page at a time.”

The Anointed Pen Christian Writers Seminar will be held on Saturday, March 27 from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The location is Greater Grace Temple City of David at 23500 W. 7 Mile Rd on Detroit’s west side. Event registration is $39 ($45 at the door). There is also an Hour of Power Marketing and PR Luncheon ($15 separate from the registration fee). For more information, contact (313) 615-6704.
