Annual Renaissance Festival in South Florida Feb 8 - April 13, 2014

Held on the weekends in Deerfield Beach and in Miami. It begins taking place in Quiet Waters Park. 401 S. Powerline Rd. The park itself is interesting, it has a water skiing system on ski rixen cable and is also a splash adventure water park. There is a mountain bike trail and camping with tent or tepee rental. So you don't have to put up a tent, they are already set up. Dogs are allowed in the park, but are not allowed for the Renaissance Festival. The Deerfield festival has themed weekends:

Romance Weekend - "Wine & Chocolate" - February 8 and 9.
Pirates Weekend - "Pillage the Village" - February 15, 16 and 17. (Could be an idea to bring your date for a Valentine's weekend )
Wenches Weekend - "Bodacious Bodices" - February 22 and 23.
Time Travelers Weekend - "From Steampunk to the Stars" - March 1 and 2.
New - Game of Thrones Inspired Weekend - March 8 and 9.
St Patrick's Weekend - "We're going Green" - March 15 and 16.

11am to sunset.

Individual tickets, Pub Crawl experience, VIP Parking, Season Pass, Group rate, etc. (info taken via email notification)

The cost is $20 for adults, $9 for children 6-11 and free for children 5 and under. For more info on rates and for groups or season passes click here.

In Miami it will begin on March 29th - April 13th, 2014 for six weekends at Cauley Square Historic Village - 22400 Old Dixie Highway.
