Annual pull tab fundraiser this Saturday at 2nd St Market

Pull tab donations bring in $14K annually for the Ronald McDonald House Charities
P O'Beollain

It’s time for the 8th Annual Tab-A-Pull-Ooza! Bring your aluminum can pull-tabs to PNC 2nd Street Market this Saturday, May 17, 2014 and help raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Miami Valley. Individuals and groups are invited to bring in their pull tab collections between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a friendly competition; prizes are donated by local organizations and awarded to the top collectors in three categories: Individual, Group, and School. Everyone who brings a pull tab collection to the market will be entered into a raffle for additional prizes.

The Dayton Ronald McDonald House Charities recycles the pull tabs for their salvage value. The pull tabs collected during this event - along with the pull tab donations dropped off at the House throughout the year - raise over $14,000 for the Charities annually. Monies are used to help support families of critically ill, hospitalized children. Individuals, families, schools, Scouts, businesses and others participate in this fun-filled annual event. Pull-tab collections are weighed by First Street Recycling Company.

See you – and your pull tabs – this Saturday! Contact (937) 228-2088 or for more details.
