The 8th annual Tab-A-Pull-Ooza was held this past Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the 2nd Street Market. Pull-tab collections were weighed and sold as salvage to generate funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities in the Miami Valley Region. The pull tabs collected during this event, along with the pull tab donations dropped off at the House throughout the year bring in approximately $14,000 for the House annually.
This revenue is used to help support families of critically ill, hospitalized children. 25 schools, 24 organizations and countless individuals participated in this year’s event. Pull-tab collections were weighed and a total of 5000 pounds of pull-tabs were collected, raising nearly $3200 to help support RMHC Dayton families! Prizes were donated by Kings Island, The Cincinnati Reds, Scene 75 and others, and were awarded for the largest collections in categories of Individual, Group and School.
Start saving those tabs now for the 9th annual Tab-A-Pull-Ooza on May 16, 2015!
