The Annual Doctor Martin Luther King Jr holiday march is scheduled to be on Monday January 16, 2012 in historic downtown Mobile Alabama at the Lyon Street parking lot at Bishop State University campus.
The Bishop State University campus is located at 414 Stanton Road in Mobile Alabama.
The MLK Annual walk is scheduled to start at 12:00 noon and those attending are encouraged to come early to line up at 10:00am.
The march will start down Martin King Luther Avenue then to Lafayette Street, to Spring Hill Avenue, and the march will end up at Lyons Park for a big rally.
Mobile and surrounding areas will not provide garbage services on this celebrated holiday.
All Mobile City offices to include courthouses will also be closed for observation of this holiday.
The Wave Transit System in Mobile Alabama will also be closed for transportation services but will reopen on January 18, 2012.
All Schools in Mobile and in surrounding counties will be closed on Dr Martin Luther. King Jr holiday.
All banks and post offices in Mobile and surrounding counties will be closed to observe MLK Day.
