If there is one word that defines iPhone 5c, it is color. The iconic black and white models of earlier iPhone versions is out and color is in! But while customers are racing to pick up the green, blue, yellow, pink or white polycarbonate iPhone 5c,which color is most popular? The most sought after color is pink, according to a Sept. 24 report in news.com.au.
The pink iPhone 5c accounts for almost half of all iPhone 5c sales in the UK—with blue, green, white and yellow trailing respectively. The once popular white accounts for only 10 percent of all iPhone 5c sales.
Apple has engineered color into the very fabric of the economical iPhone 5c, with the wallpaper of the iOS 7 Home Screen matching the polycarbonate outer shell's hue. You can get an iPhone 5c for just $99 or, in some cases, you can get it free.

It also appears that customers are opting for the less expensive 16GB model (which can be had for $99 or less) of iPhone 5c, rather than the spacier and more expensive ($199) 32GB model version.
The iPhone 5c was introduced earlier this month, along with the iPhone 5s, at an Apple presentation. The iPhone 5s is the more advanced iPhone model, with a fingerprint sensor, the world's first 64 bit chip in a smartphone and a higher price tag ($199 for the 16GB model).
Unlike the five bright colors of iPhone 5c, the iPhone 5s comes in just three colors—gold, silver and space gray. Gold is far and away the most popular color for iPhone 5s. It is so popular that the availability of the gold iPhone 5s has been pushed back to October.
