If you’ve been reading my column since last summer, or have looked through my archived articles, you may have seen my sports car of the week program. That started when I was the Detroit Sports Car Examiner and Mother Nature had a way of making it harder to find a different sports car each week but I still wanted a way to feature the Detroit area’s hottest cars. Starting next week, in cooperation with the Mustang Owners Club of South Eastern Michigan (MOCSEM), I will bring my readers the Detroit Autos Examiner’s Mustang of the Month!
Starting on Monday March 22nd, I will feature a different Mustang from MOCSEM on the second to last Monday of each month with the history of the vehicle, pictures and of course a modifications list. For those who haven’t heard of the Mustang Owners Club of South Eastern Michigan, their nearly-400 members makes them the biggest Mustang club in the state (and there are plenty of Mustang clubs around the Motor City). Also, MOCSEM is the 2nd oldest regional club registered with Mustang Club of America celebrating their 35th anniversary in 2010.
MOCSEM is also the organizing force behind Mustang Memories – the largest one-day all Ford show in the Midwest, being held this year on August 8th at the Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn. Click here for more about MOCSEM, including their calendar of events and information on joining the club!
