The studio has hired a band and will serve refreshments at the opening and we well be printing several thousand glossy, full color invitations which will be available to participating artists in addition to our e-mail invitations and other promotional efforts.

The show will be curated and juried by the studio's Master Printmaker, Louis F. Dow who will also be participating in the show (but will not be eligible for any awards).

Artists wanting to participate must submit works by April 1. Submission may be in any form that allows for jurying. Accepted art must be appropriately framed ready to hang and in the studio by April 8, 2013. Artists may submit up to 4 works of art. All accepted art must be for sale. Open Studio/Monotype Monday

This Monday and, indeed, every Monday evening, the studio is open for our regular, weekly open studio, Monotype Monday. You are invited to stop by to just check the studio out, to learn a technique or to make art.

Etching, monotype/monoprint and other fine art printmaking techniques are available; the studio is fully equipped and etching plates and paper are available for purchase or they may be brought in with you.

The studio is open beginning at 6:00 p.m. Our Master Printmaker will be on hand to help newcomers and experienced printmakers alike; he will offer tips, explain and demonstrate techniques, give critiques and do other things to help folks have a successful evening.

The cost is only $35.00 which includes everything except etching plates and paper.
