To say Hollywood has taken notice of the comic world would be a drastic understatement. On the heels of all the CW DC comics announcements today, ABC made one of their own. The home of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, will now also be the home to their new series Agent Carter. Direct from the film, Agent Carter will explore Agent Margaret Peggy Carter as she searches for new meaning to her espionage life after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger.

Hayley Atwell, who portrayed Agent Carter in the first Captain America film, will reprise her role for the series. ABC also announced that they have picked up Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D for a second season. Are you looking forward to exploring more of Peggy Carter without Captain America taking her spotlight?
