Annenberg Beach House

The Annenberg Community Beach House is a sprawling 100-room mansion, located in lovely Santa Monica beach community. It is a public swimming pool facility located on a gorgeous 5 acres of oceanfront property developed during the 1920’s era by William Randolph Hearst and actress Marion Davies.
It’s history also includes the purchase of the property in 1947 by Joseph Drown from Davies and converted into Oceanhouse, "America's Most Beautiful Hotel." The Sand & Sea Club was a popular, limited-membership beach club that continued to operate after the Oceanhouse venture ended. The main mansion was demolished in 1956. Since remodeled, the mansion now features beautiful handmade, restored tiles and marble around the deck. The pool and pool deck are complimented by a new Pool House, with changing areas, lockers, and a second floor View Deck that offers magnificent views of Santa Monica Bay.
Join the Beach House for an evening of with plenty of fun. Gather in the courtyard and dine with a bring your own picnic. There are games for all ages like ping-pong, hula hoops, ladder ball, and new this summer pike ball!
Storytime for ages 2-5 with the Heal the Bay's Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. This event is free, reservations are requested, starting June 11.
Summer DAILY Pool Hours: June 11-September 1
Dollar Splash Monday: 10am-8pm (excludes 9/1)
Saturday-Sunday, 10am-8pm (8/23 Pool closes at 6pm for Cardboard Yacht Regatta)
Postseason WEEKEND Hours: September weekends 11am-5pm.
The pool is open weekends beginning Memorial Day weekend, daily mid June through Labor Day, and weekends in September.
Daily pool admission: $10/adult, $5/senior (60+), $4/youth (1-17)
Dollar Splash Mondays: $1/person
