Anne Hathaway will take the Oscars 2013 red carpet by storm, claims makeup artist Julia Papworth. Opposing Views reported a copy of the interview on Feb. 22. The makeup artist believes that the "Les Miserables" actress will steal the show on the red carpet.
Julia loves Anne's pixie haircut. She said that the actress was adventurous to chop her hair off. In actuality, Hathaway had to cut her hair for her role on "Les Miserables."
Papworth added that the actress still looks very much feminine despite her shorter hair. It's a common misconception that women won't feel feminine when they cut their hair. The makeup artist mentioned that Anne is a perfect example of a stylish woman.
Julia says that there will be a lot of old Hollywood glamour on the red carpet. She added there will be no gimmicky gowns or crazy styles. The trend will include classic dresses and soft waves.
Anne Hathaway isn't the only actress that Julia Papworth has high hopes for. She says that she can't wait to see what Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence will be wearing. The Oscars 2013 live show airs Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.
