The “Alice in Wonderland” star, Anne Hathaway was recently honored with the Lacoste spotlight award at the 15th annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, reports U.S. News on Feb. 20.
To accept the award, the gorgeous actress worked an all-gold look wowing fashion critics with her fashionable flair. Hathaway took center stage in an embellished gold mini dress, brown diamond Julieri studs, Dana Rebecca Designs rings and jeweled sandals. Although opulent, the dress was sleek and chic. The makeup was limited to complementing lips and bold eyes.
Fashion critics at Instyle loved Anne Hathaway’s all gold look. “The actress dared to wear the allover hue for maximum impact,” they note. Also, 85 percent of People magazine’s readers gave Anne’s look a thumbs up, as the article is being penned.
Accepting the trophy, the 30-year-old actor said, "I especially treasure the moment that happens on set when all the choices have been made, rehearsal is done, you're about to start, you look down and you believe in what you're wearing, so that way when you look up, you are gone, and it's finally the character's moment to come alive.”
