Anne Hathaway hate club doesn't keep critics from awarding her in London (Video)

Hoards of Internet users hate Anne Hathaway, but critics love her. According to a Jan. 21 Entertainmentwise report, Hathaway won best supporting actress for “Les Miserables” at the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards.

Hathaway wasn't present at the London awards, so there was no speech for the public to criticize. Anne won a Golden Globe for the same role last week and her acceptance speech was heavily dissected via Twitter. The two wins put Hathaway closer to her dream of scoring an Oscar.

Critics have called Anne’s “Les Mis” performance “overwhelming” and “mesmeric.” Fans, however, are torn. While some refer to Hathaway as “simply amazing” others aren’t nearly as generous in their opinion of the actress.

There is a large group of Anne Hathaway haters. A web search for Anne’s name paired with “annoying” brings up over a million hits. When “hate” is added to her name instead of “annoying” the number of search results is over 30 million. That’s a whole lot of Hathaway hate.

Fortunately for Anne, it doesn’t appear that negative public opinions are keeping her from earning prestigious recognition for her work. The Oscar may be heading Hathaway’s way soon.
