Anne Hathaway breaks her fashion relationship with Rachel Zoe

Anne Hathaway has reportedly dropped stylist Rachel Zoe, according to a Jan. 27 report from the Huffington Post. The celebrity stylist dressed the actress for red carpet events and movie premieres.

A source told Pret-A-Reporter that stylist Penny Lovell has been dressing Hathaway instead. She last styled the star for the Sundance Film Festival. It was also the first time that the two worked together.

Hathaway's feminine style has now transformed into menswear-inspired style. She wore a green pleated suit at the film festival. Her Sundance look makes more sense, as she favored oversized linen pants and beanies in the past.

However, a source told E! that Hathaway and Zoe aren't completely over yet:

"Rachel and Anne aren't currently working together. However, their relationship isn't over. Anne is just trying out something new for the time being."

Looks like the actress wants to figure out her personal style. There's nothing wrong with wanting to experiment with different styles and designers.

As for Zoe, it's not sure if she'll survive this major client. Her eponymous clothing line was dropped from high-end retail stores and her Bravo show was cancelled.

Anne Hathaway could very well survive without Rachel Zoe, though. It'll be interesting to see what outfits the actress wears to the next event.
