Just yesterday, Aug. 26, 2014, Anne Curtis responded to the challenge. With the help of her boyfriend, Erwan Heusaff, the controversial actress/TV host accepted the ice bucket challenge after she was nominated by fellow ABS-CBN star Billy Crawford. On her Instagram account, Anne Curtis, who is one of the most followed celebrities on the micro-blogging site Twitter, posted a video of her doing the challenge.

She then nominated Regine Velasquez, Luis Manzano, Angel Locsin, Sarah Geronimo and hunk actor Matteo Guidicelli. It was the pop star’s second nomination, but as of this evening, (Manila time) Sarah Geronimo is still not showing interest if she is willing or not to do the ice bucket challenge.

Sarah Geronimo received her first nomination from Broadway star and “The Voice of the Philippines” co-mentors Lea Salonga several days ago, but like what some say, the pop star is still not issuing any statement regarding the challenge. Is she willing to take it or not?

Meanwhile, if the pop star is still not responding, her boyfriend, actor-athlete Matteo Guidicelli, responded to it. You guys can visit his Instagram account to watch a video of him doing the ice bucket challenge. Before doing it, Matteo tagged Rowell Santiago, Louie Ocampo and Steve Mark Gan.

The challenge is aiming to raise awareness of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS otherwise known as the Lou Gehrig's disease. The challenge is daring participants to dump a bucket of ice water on their head or donate the ALS Foundation. As of Tuesday, said foundation has reportedly received US$80M in donations.
