AnnaLynne Mccord is currently known for playing the role of Naomi Clark on the new "90210" and has also appeared on shows like "Nip/Tuck" and "Ugly Betty." Few people know that the pretty blonde is also passionate about lending her voice to the worldwide issue of human trafficking.
Mccord recently spoke with foxnews.com about her passion to fight against human trafficking, which out of all the states in America is most active in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Millions of young children are stolen from abroad and sold into sexual slavery in America. Mccord was so shaken by this that she has committed to raising awareness for the issue and is now the spokesperson for “The Blind Project,” which describes itself as “A group of concerned individuals who aim to protect children from the sex trade industry.”
On a recent intervew on foxnews, Mccord admitted she accepted her role on “90210” to use her image and the show’s popularity to bring attention to the human trafficking issue in America.
