Anna Ramsay earns second straight female athlete of the week

Past winners

2013/2014 Winter season- Week 7-January 13th- January 19th


Anna Ramsay- Narraguagus- basketball- Scored 20 points including her 1000 career point in 63-30 victory over Sumner.

Scored 10 points and pulled down 17 rebounds in 51-47 overtime loss to Calais.

Had 28 points, including 20 in the second half in 57-42 victory over Washington Academy.

Ramsay has helped Narraguagus earn 10 wins in their first 12 games this season.

Last week, Ramsay shared female athlete of the week with Brinsley Chasse from Orono.

Runner up

Theresa Onwuk- Lee- basketball- basketball- Scored 24 points in 55-47 victory over Stearns. Scored 31 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in 51-29 victory over Woodland.

Other nominations

Hannah Graham- Presque Isle- basketball- Recorded 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four steals in 70-33 victory over Fort Kent. Recorded 21 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and three steals in 68-30 victory over Old Town. Presque Isle now has a 58 game winning streak and a 53 game home winning streak.

Hannah Clement- Orono- basketball- Recorded 14 points, four assists, and four steals in 44-39 win over Dexter.

Hannah Shaw- MDI- basketball- Scored 12 points including her 1000 career point in 74-37 victory over John Bapst. Had 13 points in 74-46 victory over Foxcroft.
