X-Men fans will not be touch by Rogue in next summer's Days of Future Past, as Entertainment Weekly (EW) reported that a scene with Anna Paquin will not appear on the big screen.
Days of Future Past reunites mostly everyone from the X-Men film franchise, which includes Sirs Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen reprising their roles as Professor X and Magneto, alongside younger counterparts James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender as Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr.
Once best friends, Charles and Erik are on opposite sides, with one becoming Professor X to lead the superheroic X-Men, and the other becoming Magneto to form the Brotherhood of Mutants.
As Professor X, Charles hopes for peaceful co-existence between mutants and humans, but the militant Magneto believes that mutants are the next stage of evolution -- the future --, and that humans no longer matter.
Days of Future Past also stars Halle Berry as Storm, and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, who is sent back in time to prevent a war that will be wage on mutants.
Paquin, who plays Sookie Stackhouse on HBO's True Blood, played Rogue in the original trilogy with Stewart, McKellen, Berry, and Jackman.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for release on May 23, 2014.
