Anna Paquin’s Rogue is cut form the new “X-Men: Days of Future Past” movie. Paquin appeared in one scene of the latest "X-Men" film and that clip is now on cutting room floor, unfortunately for her fans. According to the Huffington Post, on Dec. 21, the “True Blood” star’s mutant character, Rouge, was not cut due to Paquin’s acting.
Paquin was informed that the scene was cut from the new “X-Men” movie before Director Bryan Singer released the information to the public. He also said that it was a good scene, that will “probably end up on the DVD so people can see it.”
Singer calls it “an embarrassment of riches and it was just one of the things that had to go,” when explaining Paquin’s scene being cut from the movie.
He also said that the scene wasn’t cut due to anything that involved Paquin's acting, she was good in the scene. He hopes he can work with her again in the future. Pacquin “completely understood” when Singer gave her the news, reports Singer during a recent interview.
