Anna Dello Russo, Vogue Japan editor-at-large, made quite a splash in her Menswear suit at the Ermenegildo Zegna Autumn/Winter 2013 show for Milan Fashion Week on January 12, 2013 in Milan, Italy.
Anna is right on board with the ever-growing numbers of femme fatales who are making a mark these days by donning drag.
Russo stood out in her three-piece black tuxedo, crisp white shirt and black bowtie, leaving her long blonde tresses to hang over her lapels… A black fedora and peeptoe pumps completed the androgynous look.
Whether that man’s suit on Anna Dello Russo is by Ermenegildo Zegna is still unsure…
As for the Ermenegildo Zegna Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, designers Gildo Zegna, Anna Zegna and Paolo Zegna deliver all the usual extremely well-rendered suits, overcoats, chunky sweaters and separates but this year, Zegna is right on-trend with leather moto jackets!
To go with the black leather moto jackets are hefty, utilitarian black leather overnighter bags, a worthwhile investment for the traveler! Alternatively, various grey suede overnighters are also on offer.
American model Ryan Burns was also enlisted by Ermenegildo Zegna to present their Autumn/Winter 2013 designs, including the sharp black suit, which he teamed with a black tie in a monochrome look (aside from the white shirt!).
This is a very masculine, no-fuss yet stylish Fall/Winter collection by Ermenegildo Zegna and one that men will find infinitely wearable! Take a look for yourselves in my slideshow…
