Actress, Ann Walker best known for her role as LaVonda DuPree in Del Shore's "Sordid Lives" and her weekly show "The Ann Walker Show" on UBN Radio will be the guest Bingo ball caller to support the The Lavender Effect at Hamburger Mary's Legendary Bingo on Wednesday, February 27 at 9:00 pm.
The Lavender Effect's mission is to create a state-of-the-art LGBTQ Museum in Los Angeles. Coupled with a dynamic Cultural Center, educational programs and interactive exhibits will focus awareness on LGBTQ contributions to society and our place in history (AKA Governor Brown’s FAIR Education Act).
A world-class interactive Museum, will use the latest evolving technology. It will showcase the Southern California regional history of the LGBTQ movement and its place in world history, as well as the reciprocal influence on our region of LGBTQ contributions to civilization. Coupled with a dynamic Cultural Center which will become a hub for the LGBTQ community, the complex will focus awareness on our contributions to society and our place in history, host lively programs to help define our place in the 21st Century, and provide positive role models for LGBTQ youth.
Bingo Tickets are $20 at the door. Hamburger Mary's full menu and bar will be available during the Bingo Event. Arrive on time to be assure a table.
