Mitt and Ann Romney talked to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday on March 3. This was their first official media appearance since losing the presidential race in November. As usual, Ann Romney had plenty to say about the situation, but it was apparent before she said it that she’s “mostly over it, but not completely.”
Drawing from the “mostly dead” line from the “Princess Brides,” she expressed her still lingering sorrow that her husband was not allowed to serve the American people in the White House. She feels that America would be better off if Mitt Romney, the man she admits that she defends like a she-lion, had been elected President. Ann Romney told Chris Wallace that the campaign just never “let Mitt be Mitt.”
Ann Romney also admitted that she received an offer to appear on “Dancing with the Stars,” but decided she was not flexible enough to do it. She made it clear she was not interested in running for office herself. She laughingly said that she was enjoying life. Ann Romney is a breast cancer survivor and lives with MS.
