Ann Romney's "DWTS" career is over before it even began. Even though her husband's bid to become president failed, the producers of the wildly popular televised dance competition "Dancing With the Stars" were keen to have her on the show. Unfortunately for fans of Romney -- and they are plentiful -- she turned down their offer, according to a Jan. 14, 2013 report by TMZ.
For Ann Romney, the "DWTS" offer was not something to take lightly. It was reported that the attractive blond is a huge fan of the show, and she seriously considered their offer before ultimately declining.
It's too bad because Ann Romney on "DWTS" would have been different from all the other celebrities and public figures who have appeared on the show in the past. Popular reality stars like Kim Kardashian and The Situation actually underperformed. Romney has a strong following of female followers who would likely have tuned in to the show to watch her fox trot. Maybe next time.
