Ann Romney blames the media for not giving her husband a "fair shake" while he was running for president against President Barack Obama, according to an ABC report March 4. Although she and Mitt Romney feel there is plenty of blame to go around with themselves and their own campaign, Mrs. Romney isn't leaving the press out.
"I believe it was the media's fault as well, is that he was not giving -- being given a fair shake, that people weren't allowed to really see him for who he was," she said. "I'm happy to blame the media."
When it came to Romney addressing his reaction to losing the presidential race, he admits it's hard to watch what's happening in Washington at this time.
"I look at what's happening right now, I wish I were there. It kills me not to be there, not to be in the White House doing what needs to be done," he recently told FOX News.
Romney blames his campaign for not better appealing to minority voters as well.
"The weakness that our campaign had and that I had is we weren't effective in taking my message primarily to minority voters, to Hispanic-Americans, African-Americans, other minorities. That was a real weakness."
Do you agree with Ann Romney in placing part of the blame on the media over her husband not winning the presidency?
