Ann Romney blames the media and Romney campaign for Mitt Romney’s loss (Video)

Ann Romney blames the media for husband Mitt Romney’s loss to President Barack Obama in the 2012 election, according to a Mar. 3 Washington Post report. “I’m happy to blame the media,” Ann Romney told Fox News’ Chris Wallace in a recent interview. “The thing that was frustrating to me is that people didn’t really get to know Mitt for who he was,” she said.

Ann and Mitt Romney sat down for their first in depth post-election interview with Wallace for Fox News Sunday and opened up about everything thing from the loss to the current mess in Washington. She blames the media and campaign for not allowing the American public to see her husband for who he really was. Noting that she was “blind sighted by the passion” that came from the Obama campaign, she told Wallace that she was frustrated with the media bias and even the Romney campaign team. “People weren’t allowed to really see him for who he really was.”

While she admits that she is still dealing with the loss, there is one thing she knows for sure, amid all the sequestration drama playing out in Washington. “I know he would’ve been a fabulous president and I mourn the fact that he’s not there,” adding, “I totally believe at this moment if Mitt were there in the office that we would not be facing sequestration right now.”

Mitt Romney for his part, said that he knew in his heart they were going to win.
