Ann Coulter Marco Rubio 2016: The feisty blonde blasts the senator’s plan

According to ABC News, a day after Marco Rubio visited the Rush Limbaugh radio show to talk among other things immigration reform, Ann Coulter blasted his plan. On Jan. 30 Coulter wrote a critical piece in Conservative Voice's Human Events column on the GOP senator’s bipartisan plan.

“Strangely, some Republicans seem determined to create more Democratic voters, too. That will be the primary result of Sen. Marco Rubio’s amnesty plan,” Coulter wrote referring to Limbaugh’s concern that allowing illegal immigrants to apply for citizenship only broadens the Democratic voting base.

She continued, “Rubio’s bill is nothing but amnesty. It isn’t even ‘amnesty thinly disguised as border enforcement.’ This is a wolf in wolf’s clothing. Despite all the blather about how Rubio demands “Enforcement First!” the very first thing his proposal does is make illegal aliens legal. (Don’t call them ‘illegal aliens’!)”

And just in case, Rubio did not get the point, Coulter blamed California’s cash flow problems on the rising Hispanic population in the state, arguing that with Hispanics on track to become the largest ethnic group in California in 2013, a state that has churned out two Republican presidents will be paralyzed by Democrat voters. She surmises that this will be the fate of America if her fellow Republicans fall for what she refers to as Rubio’s “phony ‘Enforcement First!’ plan.”

According to Coulter, “some Republicans seem determined to turn the whole nation into California, in the foolish hope of winning one last election.” She emphasizes that Rubio’s right to legally live and work in America is in effect a “green card.” She concludes by reiterating that the “Enforcement First!” is just theoretical, because practically it can never kick in.

She ends with her parting shot at the tea party. “If only other Republicans didn’t ride the tea party to victory before realizing they really just want to be John McCain.”

The last thing Rubio wants is to have the word “amnesty” anywhere near his plan if his colleagues are going to support the bipartisan plan.
