The Anker MP141 Portable Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker with Super-Sized 4W Driver is a beautiful and well-crafted piece of Bluetooth electronic gear for the audiophile and those who simply plug in and listen, which is probably a lot of us.
It plays for fifteen to twenty hours at a stretch, weighs less than a quarter of an ounce, supports HSP, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP and is no wider or taller than 3.1 inches. The MP141 was designed for ages six and up. Granted, this does not guarantee that us older folk can figure it out. It does not. But, we did it and we are really somewhat new to the electronic arena, as much as we love and appreciate such items.
This unit also acts as a speakerphone, which can be totally dudical for those of us who were not raised on a computer. Our eleven-year-old niece has no patience for our obvious lack of knowledge. The sighing eye roll says much more than words ever could.
One of the excellent aspects of Bluetooth technology is the fact that it operates in a wireless mode. To operate in this manner, simply unplug the audio cable.
It sells for $79.99, but is much cheaper for Amazon Prime members. You can get yours here.
