Texas Health Resource Live It Up! Health & Wellness Tea presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Texas, a fun-spirited event dedicated to inspire and educate more than 400 African American women to manage or prevent diabetes for themselves and their families. This year’s event will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 and will feature Ms. Anita Wilson, Grammy nominee and Stellar Award winner.
Live It Up! is a program of the American Diabetes Association’s North Texas office that was created to empower women in efforts to adopt positive health behaviors that will benefit the entire family and lead to a better reduction in overweight, obesity and related health issues.
Wilson is set to release her much anticipated sophomore album "Vintage Worship" this summer. Her debut smash "Worship Soul" is still captivating gospel fans with each single. Wilson's eclectic blend of worship styles included a cover of Chicago legends The Barrett Sisters' rendition of the James Cleveland classic "Jesus Will", her breakthrough single "Speechless" and even a cover of the James Taylor ballad "Shower the People".
"Vintage Worship" is the perfect reprise to "Worship Soul" and Wilson is sure to continue her award winning ways with her new release.
