Andrea Walker, the mother of missing 7-week-old baby, Aniston Walker, remains behind bars on Jan. 12, 2013 as she awaits a court appearance on charges of abuse and neglect in connection with her daughter’s disappearance, according to The Memphis Commercial Appeal.
According to WREG, the quest to find Aniston was called off Saturday because police have made an exhaustive search of where the child could be and “have no other obvious places to look” for her.
Walker, 33, told police she left Aniston with her 3-year-old son at around 11:40 a.m. while taking her 5-year-old child to school.
Aniston was reported missing by her father – who reportedly does not live in the home – on Jan. 9, sometime after Walker returned to the residence.
According to police, Walker has been uncooperative with the investigation into Aniston’s whereabouts.
Walker is being held on $500,000 bond, according to CBS News.
The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports that Walker is due to appear in General Sessions Criminal Court on Monday morning.
