Animeland Wasabi 2014 to bring the hot guests to Denver

This isn’t the average anime convention. Animeland Wasabi 2014 can boast that they will be “bringing a pop culture event with an anime feel to Colorado." Rocky Mountain area geeks are marking Feb 28 – Mar 2 down on their calendar for a weekend of cosplay, well known celebrity guests, live music and plenty of other activities. With the experience of hosting shows across the country since 2007, Animeland will be bringing fans a weekend full of celebs such as American voice actor John William DiMaggio, American actor, rapper and singer Jeremy Shada , actor Liam McIntyre, and actresses Ona Grauer, Teryl Rothery, and Cassandra Morris.

No stranger to geek flavored conventions, The Crowne Plaza Denver International Hotel & Convention Center will be a great venue that is offering a con room rate of just $95 a night until Feb 15. With so many cool guests and activities getting a room for the weekend would be ideal.

The celebrity guests are a must see. Guests of honor John William DiMaggio and Jeremy Shada will be a big draw. Actor DiMaggio is best known for his role as Bender the robot on Futurama and Dr. Drakken on Kim Possible. Shada is best known for his role as Finn in the American animated television series Adventure Time and Robin in the show Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Actor Liam McIntyre is the young star of the hit series, Spartacus. Actress Ona Grauer played Emily Young and Ayiana on the TV show Stargate Universe. Another Stargate alumn is actress Teryl Rothery who is loved by fans for her role in the show as Dr. Janet Fraiser on SG1. Voice actress Cassandra Lee Morris who is known for her roles as Yubel, Leo and Luna in the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise.
