Anime and Manga releases for the week of February 6th, 2012

Here are the anime, manga and Asian live action releases that fans can expect to see in stores throughout the course of this week, including titles from FUNimation Entertainment, NIS America and Bandai.

Things are a little busier this week with anime, which should make fans happy. FUNimation releases Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings 2 in a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack (Limited and Standard Editions), Sentai Filmworks releases the Xam’d Complete Collection on DVD and Blu-ray, Nozomi Entertainment releases the Gasaraki Complete Series on DVD and NIS America release the second season of Arakawa Under the Bridge in a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack. In addition Bandai releases Akira on DVD, the complete second season of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion on DVD, seasons one and two of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 on DVD, the second collection of Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 on DVD, part two of Mobile Suit Gundam UC on DVD and parts three and four of Tales of the Abyss on DVD.

There is also one new title in the Asian live action category this week as Well Go releases Yakuza Weapon on DVD and in a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack.
