Animzement will be returning to the Raleigh Convention Center next weekend for four days worth of fun for anime fans. Animazement is about everything anime and Japan, and every year they pack the schedule full of events dedicated to everything that makes us fans. This year will be no exception, and they look forward to bringing you a weekend packed full of events, guests, panels, video rooms, and more. The convention is always held on Memorial Day weekend and many fans are rushing to finish cosplays and preparations as the weekend lands a little early this year.

A large amount of Gundam themed guests are scheduled to show up to the convention this year. Some guests include Keiko Han (Lala Sun from Mobile Suit Gundam), Shuichi Ikeda (Char Aznable from the Mobile Suit Gundam), Toru Furuya (Amuro Ray from Mobile Suit Gundam), and Toshio Furukawa (Kai Shiden from Mobile Suit Gundam).

Also scheduled to appear is Shin Sasaki. Sasaki joined Sunrise in 1997, starting his career in anime with publicity work on the Brave series and the Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. Sasaki has been involved with various Gundam projects since 1999, providing publicity for Gundam seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, as well as production plans and events for series off-shoots like Gundam Seed Astray. In recent years, he has been involved as a producer in almost every Gundam series, including Gundam 00, MS IGLOO 2, SD Gundam Sangokuden, Gundam UC, Gundam Age, as well as the brand-new Gundam Build Fighters, which began its run in October, 2013.

As always Animazement will be featuring many events such as the Masquerade, Video Game tournaments, Panels and autograph sessions, and has large areas set up for dealer's room and artist alley. Their schedule is already available for viewing on their website. For more information on Animazement, visit their page at http://www.animazement.com
