In Lehigh Acres, Florida country animal services received a call yesterday because a stray kitten got its head stuck in a pipe and was crying loudly. Three children heard the kitten crying and told their mom. They tried to pour oil on the kitten’s neck in an attempt to loosen the cats neck from the pipe, but it didn’t work. So the mom called animal services, and they came out to attempt to rescue the kitten.
Animal services had to give the kitten a sedative before attempting to dislodge its head. But once the kitten settled down, the head came out and the kitten was ok. The story made the local news in Florida, and then so many people were looking for the video of the rescued kitten on the internet that it ended up on CNN.
