The Animal Rescue League is hosting its annual Paws in the Park on May 31, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Drummer Boy Park in Brewster, Mass. Paws in the Park is “one of the largest dog-friendly pet festivals on Cape Cod,” according to ARL's website.
Admission for adults is only $3 and children 12 years old and under are admitted free.
The festival will benefit the ARL's Brewster Animal Shelter, which houses both large and small animals.
Paws in the Park will include a frisbee dog show, a police K9 demonstration, Cool 102's Joe Rossetti and WCOD's Stephanie Viva, and of course the Animal Rescue League's Rescue Team. The festival will have activities for children, as well as games and contests. Park-goers can grab a bite to eat while they shop at the different vendors. There will also be a raffle – tickets are $2 each. Raffle prizes include, but are not limited to, a one-night stay at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, $100 gift certificate to Ark Angel Animal Hospital and a dog photo session with Cold Nose Photo.
