'Animal': first look at Drew Barrymore's Flower Films trailer (Video)

See also landed an exclusive trailer of "Animal," Drew Barrymore's latest project from Flower Films. The movie stars Keke Palmer, Eve, Amaury Nolasco and Thorsten Kaye.

"Animal" follows a group of close-knit friends who find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a blood-thirsty predator. Holed up in isolated cabin, tensions mount as secrets are revealed. As the body count rises, the group puts their differences aside and fights for survival. Barrymore executive produces the thriller alongside her producing partner.

"I just finished "Animal," a horror movie coming out later this year," Palmer told Classic TV Examiner during an interview. "It's from Flower Films, Drew Barrymore's company and they're very excited about it."

Palmer recently starred in the VH1 bio-pic, "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" and in the Lifetime Production of "The Trip to Bountiful opposite Cicely Tyson. She can also be seen in Season 2 of Showtime's "Masters of Sex." Kaye can be seen weekdays on the internationally known CBS Daytime Drama "The Bold and the Beautiful" as Ridge Forrester. Eve released her fourth studio album "Lip Lock" last year. Nolasco has a number of upcoming films under his belt in addition to "Animal," including "In the Blood" opposite Gina Carano and Danny Trejo.

Check out the trailer on this page.

Look for "Animal" to have a limited theatrical run and VOD release later this year.
