Animal control volunteers hope a rescue will take in frightened 'big baby'

Bridgeport Animal Control Support

Butch may have a tough dog appearance, but according to the Bridgeport Animal Control in Conn., he is an insecure, "big baby."

Butch's demeanor suggests that someone has likely treated him poorly in the past.

The following information was shared about this handsome dog:

Actually, the sad news is, someone really did a number on this boy. He is so cautious of just about everything around him. Butch is going to need someone who can patiently earn his trust--and trust us, this boy has nothing but love to give.

My heart aches for whatever has happened in his short life...he is only about 1-2 years old. It seems someone even burned (possibly a chemical burn/brand) his forehead...only Butch and whoever his monster once was knows what he has been through.

Butch's sweet nature has won over the hearts of those who have met him and there is hope that a rescue agency will reach out to the animal control with an offer to take him under their wing.

Please take a moment to share Butch's information. You can find his Facebook thread here.
