This game challenges your coordination and logic skills. The goal is to rid the pigs obstructing throughout the level that stole the birds’ eggs. When reaching the city of Rio de Janeiro, these angry birds use special powers while being slung from a slingshot. Destroying the pigs and the obstacles around them acquires points and the further you get in game-play the more special tricks you can do with the birds. The game starts out for beginners with only one pig, but quickly expands and becomes more and more challenging throughout the levels.
Angry Birds Rio is one of those games where you can accidently play and use about half of your battery life in one sitting. To download the app to your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, your device must consist of iOS 3.0 or later and sizes in at 18.8MB. You may find this game in the App Store in iTunes, for $.99. The newest version, 1.5.3., was updated in March to upgrade achievements, leader boards and levels. This is a must-have game for any age group. 1/2 of 5 apples.
