Angelina Jolie was spotted wearing all black, sweating in the extreme Australian summer heat while directing her movie, “Unbroken”, according to a Dec. 15 report in the Daily Mail. Contrasting the winter storms and blizzard conditions in the United States, Jolie donned a floppy wide brimmed hat to combat Australia’s nearly 104 degrees Fahrenheit heat wave.
Pictures on the set show Angelina Jolie pairing her straw hat with a black tank top, dark skinny pants, aviator sunglasses and black ballet flat shoes. When things got too hot to handle on the set, Jolie loosely braided her hair to the side.
This isn’t the first time Jolie has been spotted wearing this exact hat. Angelina was seen with the hat while taking a selfie with a fan on the “Unbroken” set earlier in the week. The other half to Brad Pitt smiled and took pictures with the Australian fans at a train station at Werris Creek, New South Wales. Angelina Jolie was even heard saying “G’day everyone” and asking the onset fans, “Do you like all the 1920s stuff?”.
Angelina Jolie hasn’t been all work and no play. Jolie recently took her children, all six of them, backstage to meet the cast of the Australian production of “The Lion King”. Brad Pitt even visited Angelina and the kids in Australia with a yacht in between filming scenes for his new World War II film “Fury”.
