Angelina Jolie just made her first red carpet appearance of 2013, according to a Feb. 11 report by Celebitchy. However, she chose the wrong time to emerge from her Hollywood hibernation -- thanks to J-Lo, everyone is talking about Angie's right leg again.
Jennifer Lopez made sure to keep her breasts and her famous fanny covered with plenty of fabric because she was trying to follow the Grammy Awards' strict fashion rules -- they basically banned side boob, butt cracks, and bare crotches. However, she tried to be clever by rocking an Anthony Zacarello gown with an extremely high slit, telling Ryan Seacrest this about the Grammy rules: "I thought I was being such good girl -- [just] a little shoulder and a little leg." But J-Lo did risk pulling an Anne Hathaway by showing the world where babies come from with such a high slit.
J-Lo's leg flash also made it look like she was imitating Angelina Jolie, whose right leg became an internet meme after she proudly flaunted it in a similar black gown last year at the Oscars. There's been some speculation that Angie got so offended by everyone making fun of her leg that she went into hiding -- she was "punishing" the world by not gracing red carpets with her presence. If this is true, then Jennifer Lopez better start praying that she doesn't run into Angelina Jolie at the Oscars. Angie probably thought everyone was over the leg incident, and now Jennifer Lopez made it a thing again by flashing her gam at the Grammys.
And poor Angie probably thought that she was being sneaky by coming out of hiding while the world was focused on the Grammy Awards. She bravely stepped out to make her first red carpet appearance of 2013 at the American Society of Cinematographers Outstanding Achievement Awards in Hollywood on Sunday night. Angie tried to tone down her look by wearing a drab, gray Atelier Versace gown that was sadly slit-less, but she definitely stood out by accessorizing it with the $500,000 diamond ring Brad Pitt proposed to her with.
Speaking of the ring, maybe Angie just needs to announce when she's finally walking down the aisle so the world will quit talking about her leg and start focusing on what her wedding dress will look like.
