Angelina Jolie is upset that the pastor from a little known church in Florida would make such plans as to burn the Koran. Jolie said she "had hardly the words" to say to convey how wrong it is to burn the text of someone else religion.
Jolie spoke from Pakistan where she was viewing the devastation that was caused by the floods in that country. Terry Jones is the Pastor who has made world wide headlines since declaring he was intending to burn the Koran, and Jolie said she would "never support any such plans", when asked what she thought about this.
Jolie did have praise for the US Government for letting their oppositions known to Jones plans. Jones declaration led to the endangerment of the lives of the American soldiers in Afghanistan. President Obama administration made it very clear that Obama "was against the plans", according to Rueters.
"Maybe the pastor did not know the far reaching ramifications of making such a statement", said the sister of a Connecticut service man, "but no matter what religion the pastor is practicing, it surely would not condone such a an act". Most religions preach peace and love no matter what domination they are. This is far from a peaceful act of love.
